Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Hotspot Guide (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
Hotspot Guide is licensed, not sold. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
3. What the App does
Hotspot Guide performs local network diagnostics to help you troubleshoot captive portal connectivity issues. It is a diagnostic and informational tool. It does not modify your network settings, router, or any infrastructure — it can only suggest changes that you apply yourself.
4. No warranty
The App is provided “as is.” We make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of diagnostic output. Network environments vary widely; a diagnosis that resolves the issue in one scenario may not apply to yours.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or failure to connect to a network.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the App to attempt unauthorized access to any network, system, or device. The App is intended solely for diagnosing connectivity issues on networks you are authorized to use.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
